The perfect little getaway.

A Waterfront Cottage Overlooking Malpeque Bay, PEI

Nestled among the silver birch trees that gave Birch Hill its name, The Cottage is a peaceful waterfront retreat overlooking beautiful Malpeque Bay on Prince Edward Island. Surrounded by nature and just a five-minute drive from the charming village of Tyne Valley, it’s an idyllic place to experience the relaxed pace and natural beauty of PEI.

Set on 2.25 private acres with 330 feet of pristine waterfront, The Cottage at Birch Hill offers space to unwind and take in the spectacular coastal setting. With two comfortable bedrooms, the cottage is ideal for couples and can accommodate up to four guests.

Inside, the décor is relaxed and welcoming, with thoughtful details inspired by the surrounding Prince Edward Island landscape. Birch Hill has also provided inspiration for visiting artists Eleanor Lowden and Verne Busby, who captured the beauty of the property in works painted during their stays.

Outside, a spacious cedar deck overlooks Malpeque Bay and offers a wonderful spot for morning coffee, outdoor meals and quiet evenings by the water. A built-in BBQ and outdoor furniture make it easy to relax and enjoy the view, while an indoor entertainment system with in-wall and in-ceiling surround sound provides added comfort.

With its waterfront location, peaceful natural surroundings and proximity to Tyne Valley, The Cottage at Birch Hill offers a memorable place to stay on Prince Edward Island’s beautiful North Shore.

The Cottage is currently home to a long-term tenant, so unfortunately isn’t available for bookings.
